He Delivered Me!


Bruce R. Eich, MD, FACOG, FICS

Dr. Eich received both his Bachelor of Science Degree and his Medical Degree from the University of Iowa, being admitted to the University of Iowa College of Medicine following his junior year of undergraduate study. He completed his internship and residency at West Virginia University and in his final year held the position of Chief Resident. Dr. Eich is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a Fellow with the International College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Gynecological Laparoscopists and the American Fertility Society. Other memberships include the American Medical Association, Maricopa County Medical Association, and the East Valley OB/GYN Society. Dr. Eich has achieved for several consecutive years the Award of Excellence for his dedication to Continuing Medical Education, receiving the award from both the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Eich served as Chief of Staff of Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital from 1998-2000. He is a past member of the St. Luke’s Board of Governors. He has volunteered with the Tempe Center for Habilitation, providing medical consultation to the Center. He has been involved in United Way activities and also with the Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Named as one of Maricopa County’s Top Doctors by Phoenix Magazine and The Phoenix Business Journal, Dr. Eich credits his patients and staff for this honor. Professional interests include laser surgery, laparoscopy, and infertility. He and his wife Kristen, a counselor, have been married over twenty years and enjoy spending time with family and friends. They also enjoy many outdoor activities together including travel, hiking, fishing, tennis and golf.
