This morning, Amber and I loaded up the kids and went for a breakfast picnic at the new(er) playground in town. You know... the giant yellow one. We thought it would be nice to let the kiddoes get some fresh air and sunshine before the day got, well, ridiculously hot! We had no idea that the Boys and Girls club was going to be bussing children in to play. Oh, well. It really was too hot, even at 10 a.m. so when the kids came barreling through, we knew it was our cue to leave. Trampled babies just are not that cute, ya know?
The Chick-fil-A breakfast was awesome, though. I bought a fruit cup (which, btw, is sooo rinky dink and overpriced) and Anna grasped onto a strawberry. She just would not let it go, even when we were swinging and sliding. And no, she most definitely was not eating it.
All in all, it was a brilliant day. We accomplished nothing but wearing the kids out, which in my opinion, is the mark of a great day!
In the afternoon, Anna and I drove up to Dalton to have lunch with one of my old college buddies, Miss Jennifer. We had a fun time catching up and - yep - SHOPPING! Yay for TJMaxx!
Ok, gotta try to get some sleep. *yawn* Good night!
